Neeta is a corporate skills training consultant and qualified solicitor. She owns a business called New Heights Training where the main focus is training people in communication skills and legal skills. The aim is simple; to create successful results in a competitive business environment. Neeta travels nationally and internationally to train lawyers, business professionals and students.
Training and Coaching
She has worked throughout Europe and Asia training and coaching lawyers and business professionals using her blend of communication and legal skills training. Her training helps them communicate with other people in a confident, concise and clear style. Neeta has worked with all levels of staff from junior support to senior management teams. She has the ability to identify effective training solutions and present them confidently to key stakeholder partners. Her training and coaching experience covers both the private and public sectors, including international law firms.
Neeta is a certified practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and uses the psychology of human behaviour in her training and coaching programmes. She is also a practitioner of SEI Emotional Intelligence and a SEI Emotional Intelligence Assessor.
She also holds a Certificate in Teaching English to Adults (CELTA) which complements her legal skills. She trained BPP Law School examiners for the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test (now Qualified Lawyers Transfer Scheme). She created a bespoke judging criteria to ensure consistency, when assessing candidates in the English language for the verbal reasoning assessment (Principles of Common Law).
Neeta is an experienced script-writer who is comfortable directing and presenting in front of the camera to create professional training videos. She has been involved in creating legal skills training videos to prepare lawyers and law students for various practical legal assessments. Below are short samples of her work for the QLTS School:
For many years, Neeta has been an experienced litigation lawyer, where she has worked in private practice and in-house. Neeta has specialised in criminal defence contentious construction projects, where she worked for the main contractors who built Wembley National Stadium, in London. Although she has moved out of practice, she continues to be a member of the Law Society of England and Wales (UK) and maintains her name on Roll of Solicitors as a non-practising solicitor, regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
